Katie Taylor saw off mandatory challenger Jennifer Han at Headingley Stadium in Leeds on Saturday night to retain her Undisputed World Lightweight titles. Taylor received a rousing welcome from the 20,000 attendance in Leeds in what was her first fight in front of a live crowd since November of 2019 due to the pandemic.

All three judges returned shutout scorecards of 100 – 89 in what was Taylor’s eleventh title defence since capturing her first World title as a professional when she defeated Anahi Sanchez in October of 2017. The win took the Bray woman’s perfect professional record to 19 – 0.
