The highly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano has been rescheduled for Friday, November 15th. The fight, which has been described as the most significant matchup in women’s boxing history, will still take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was initially slated for July 20th but had to be postponed due to health issues involving Mike Tyson, who will still headline the November 15th event in his matchup with Jake Paul.
The rematch between Taylor and Serrano comes after their thrilling first encounter at Madison Square Garden in 2022, which saw Taylor emerge victorious in a bout hailed by many the greatest ever in women’s boxing. This upcoming fight will see Taylor defend her undisputed light welterweight titles which she captured in a win over Chantelle Cameron last November. Both Taylor and Serrano have continued to make history since their first meeting with Taylor becoming only the third boxer to hold undisputed titles in two weight classes, and Serrano becoming Puerto Rico’s first undisputed champion in the four-belt era.
The event will be broadcast globally on Netflix and free to view for all existing subscribers, further elevating its reach and significance. Fans who already purchased tickets for the original July 20th date will have their tickets honoured for the rescheduled event
