Katie Taylor stepped on the scales in Manchester today ahead of her fourth pro fight against recent World title challenger Milena Koleva at the Manchester Arena tomorrow night.
The Bray woman registered 9 stone 8 pounds and 8 ounces while her Bulgarian opponent was 9 stone 6 pounds and 2 ounces. The bout will be Taylor’s first scheduled 8 round contest as she takes on the experienced Koleva who challenged for the IBF Super Featherweight title in her last contest and also boasts a draw with current WBC Super Featherweight champ Eva Wahlstrom.

The Taylor – Koleva fight is part of a card headlined by the eagerly anticipated rematch between Jorge Linares and Anthony Crolla with the event live on Sky Sports from 7pm.
