Katie Taylor joined IBF Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua and challenger Eric Molina at their final press conference today ahead of Saturday’s fight night at the Manchester Arena. Katie will have her second pro fight on the bill as she takes on Brazil’s Viviane Obenauf with Joshua and Molina headlining the card which is live on Sky sports Box Office.

Speaking at the press conference today Katie said, “I’m under no illusions that today is about Anthony Joshua and Eric Molina so it’s a privilege to share this platform with them.
“The debut was fantastic but it is a good step up for me this weekend. It’s a great challenge for me and I’m looking forward to putting on a good show again. This is the platform I’ve dreamed of and a great chance to showcase my talents in front of 21,000 people live on Sky is incredible and what I’ve been training for my whole life. There’s some great fights on the card and it’s an honour to be a part of it.”

The weigh in for Saturday night’s action takes place at The Victoria Warehouse in Manchester tomorrow at 1pm and the event is open to the public.
